Therapeutic Solutions was founded by Jen Mitzel, LCSW in an effort to provide competent and ethical clinical services to the Las Vegas Valley. Our clinicians utilize proven, evidence-based methods that allow clients to develop the skills and tools needed for emotional health and balanced living.

ABOUT US

Jen Mitzel, LCSW

Jen Mitzel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and serves as the Clinical Director of Therapeutic Solutions Behavioral Health. She graduated from the University of Washington in 1999 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and in 2006 she graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Master's Degree in Social Work.  Jen provides treatment for ages 5 years old to geriatrics.  She specializes in mood disorders to include depression and anxiety and personality disorders. Jen utilizes various modalities of treatment to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Play Therapy.  She is a Neurofeedback provider trained in The Othmer Method at EEG Info in Woodland Hills, CA.  She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and is approved by the Board of Examiners for Social Workers to provide supervision to Clinical Social Worker Interns in the State of Nevada.

Megan Ladmirault, LCSW

Megan Ladmirault is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Nevada. She has been practicing social work since 2006. Megan earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her focus was the direct practice concentration track in the Master’s Program, which she obtained in 2008. Megan earned her Clinical Social Work License in February 2013, and she has supervised many students through UNLV's Social Work program(s). 


She is currently a behavioral specialist whose focus is mainly children and adolescents ages birth to ten (10) years old.
Megan has helped children, adolescents, adults and families with Trauma, Grief and Loss, Behavioral Issues, Depression, Anxiety, Mood related issues, and symptoms of ADHD. 

 

Megan plans to continue to expand her knowledge of therapeutic modalities and interventions, especially those that pertain to children, and one day obtain a PhD in Developmental Psychology.

Saritha Farris, LCSW

Saritha Farris is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Nevada. Saritha obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Texas at San Antonio.  She obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2014. Saritha’s experience in the Social Work field started in 2006 and spans from residential treatment centers, foster care agencies, to Child Protective Services. Saritha has also worked for both inpatient hospitals and outpatient mental health agencies. Saritha provides mental health treatment to individuals and families ranging in age from 6 years old and up with diagnoses such as ADHD, Autism, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, and PTSD. She has also worked with individuals who have suffered from trauma such as physical and sexual abuse as well as domestic violence. Saritha’s future aspirations are to expand knowledge in treatment modalities that specialize in trauma and become a Trauma Certified Specialist.   

Linda Sims, LCSW

Linda Sims is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor.  She has practiced Social Work in Nevada for over 20 years.  Past employment includes the State of Nevada, Clark County, and the Veteran’s Administration.  She is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a specialty in English.  She obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  Linda provides treatment for clients ages 5 to geriatrics using various treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy and behavior modification.  She specializes in the treatment of mood disorders such as depression and anxiety.  She is skilled at working with clients struggling with substance abuse, anger management, and victims and perpetrators of sexual abuse  She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and is certified to offer supervision to Social Work students seeking to earn hours toward advanced certification.

Andrea Vendeiro, LCSW

Andrea Vendeiro is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Nevada. Andrea obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Utah.  She obtained her Master's Degree in Social Work in 2005 from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.  Andrea's experience in the Social Work field started in 1998 and spans from group home and outpatient mental health treatment to residential treatment centers and inpatient psychiatric hospitals.  Andrea provides mental health and substance use treatment to individuals and families, ranging in age from 12 years old and up. She is skilled at working with substance use issues, victims and perpetrators of sexual abuse, and teenagers with identified conduct issues.

Elizabeth Chapa, CSW Intern

Liz Chapa is a Clinical Social Worker Intern under the supervision of Jen Mitzel, LCSW.  Liz earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Specialization in Reading from the University of Texas at San Antonio. In 2005, she earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  

Liz’s experience includes working with the geriatric population, medical social work and case management with military families at Nellis Air Force Base.  Liz's clinical experience is focused on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and behavior management with both adults and children.  Liz treats clients with mood disorders to include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD and behavioral/conduct disorders.  Liz provides both individual and family psychotherapy.

Ana Hernandez, CSW Intern

Ana Hernandez is a Clinical Social Worker Intern, working under the supervision of Jen Mitzel, LCSW.  Ana obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science in 2007 at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York.   She obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Touro College in 2010.  Ana is fluent in both Spanish and English.

Ana's experience in the Social Work field started in New York in 2007 and spans from New York public housing, local hospitals and residential treatment centers.  Ana has also worked for both inpatient hospitals and outpatient mental health agencies. Ana provides mental health treatment to individuals and families ranging in age from 6 years old to geriatrics who struggle with ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. She has also worked with individuals who have faced trauma such as physical and sexual abuse as well as domestic violence and substance abuse.  Ana’s future aspirations include becoming a fully licensed Clinical Social Worker and furthering her knowledge in various treatment modalities.

Cheri Montgomery, MS, MFT Intern

Cheri is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern whose experience in working with individuals, couples, families, and children has proven to be intrinsically rewarding in bringing about positive change in the lives of her clients.  


Cheri earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Counseling at the University of Phoenix.  Through her years of training, she has worked with high-risk individuals at a substance abuse rehabilitation facility and continues to provide psychotherapy to children and their families.

 

Cheri’s diverse experience includes working with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children presenting with various struggles.   Cheri provides therapy to clients presenting with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, oppositional defiant behavior, and ADHD.

Joe Whitley, Operations Manager

Joe is a dedicated and focused Operations Manager who has been employed in the administrative behavioral health field since 2010.  He excels at prioritizing and completing multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently conducting daily business operations.  Joe is well-versed in mediating employee conflict and is skilled at working with a diverse group of professionals.  In addition to management of agency operations, Joe also manages a team of dedicated PSR and BST providers who provide adjunctive services to agency clients.
